Is this your story?
“I feel like a broken record. How do I get my staff to listen to me?“
“I can’t achieve what I want because I can’t seem to get my team on board.“
“I’m hiring my friends and people I’m close to, and I’m not getting a good or professional performance out of any of them.”
A certain kind of dude wrote most leadership and business development books. They have hacks, systems and habits, but often lack connection and empathy. We’ve been shown a particular kind of leader to aspire to: bold, loud, driven, hardworking… and usually male.
But what if that kind of leader isn’t who you aspire to be? What if you manage your business while staying home with the kids? What if you make less money to prioritize health, family, friends and vacations? What if you want to focus on employee development or profit sharing with your staff? How do we explore the give and take of healthy human relationships and still run a functioning business?
As women and unconventional entrepreneurs, how do we achieve our goals and lead our teams with confidence and kindness?
Are you continually struggling with staff communication because you don’t clearly know how it can be different?
Are you defensive around your decisions and frustrated with staff who don’t “get it”?
Do you spend time doing things that drain you instead of tasks that inspire you?
To break these cycles, we need to unlearn what isn’t our message and create a message that’s unique to us. My process helps you learn what you value and teaches you the skills to become the unique leader you were meant to be.
I provide business strategy and emotional support for women entrepreneurs who must create their own spaces because the world hasn’t.
You now have your own space. What do you do with it?
Do you remember when a parent or caregiver did or said something and you thought, “I’m never gonna do that,” then one day, you do that exact same thing? If you’re like me, it was easy to point out the inconsistencies and flaws of the managers and owners above you; but now, suddenly, you’re starting to empathize with those you mocked.
The thing is, we are all swimming in the same water. It’s not enough to know disrespect and dismissal to never perpetrate it ourselves; we have to transform internally, unlearn what we’ve been force-fed, and rediscover the inherent greatness inside us. The greatness that the world has spent a lot of time and money to bury.
If you’ve got a big, sexy, audacious goal, there are a million small, unsexy steps to getting there; and I want to walk right alongside you. Recognizing those small victories along the way gives you the ability to allow the BIG success to sink in when it finally arrives.
